In October 2009, Marrickville Council's 2009 Community Grants Program awarded the Eco-Library grant funding of $1100 for a high

performing printer to be made available for library patrons. The Bower would like to thank Marrickville Council for their support

The Eco-Library provides members of The Bower and the local community with access

to information on how to live a more sustainable lifestyle.

Resources to carry out these activities include books, journals and leaflets, dvds and

videos; also free internet access.

It is also a place where lectures, seminars, meetings and workshops can be held by

other community groups and organisations such as the Inner West Seedsavers group.

The library collection includes

resources on...

Climate change
