Crowdfunding Campaign Almost There – Pledge Your Support to Get us Over the Line!
The Bower has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support its new initiative, House to Home Survivor Edition.
Survivors of domestic abuse will now be supported in setting up a new home, receiving furniture, white goods and whatever they need to settle in that the Bower can provide.
The House to Home program made headlines last year when it began helping Asylum Seekers in Sydney to set up home.
That came about through a partnership with Mums 4 Refugees, whilst this new Survivor Edition sees the Bower partnering with Bonnie, the Women & Girls Emergency Centre (WAGEC), Parramatta Mission and Mary’s House to help provide safe, liveable and affordable fully furnished homes to women and children survivors of violence.
For women leaving abusive situations there can be government assistance to cover rent, but all the other things that make a house to home – furniture, rugs, crockery – is not looked after. That’s where the Bower comes in. With your help, the Bower can assist.
Please donate to our crowdfunding campaign, because if we don’t reach our 15K goal, we don’t receive anything! And the Bower are strongly hoping to have the opportunity to support survivors.
