Bower Reuse and Repair Centres’ Marrickville shop front and online store is open for business. 

The Bower has four locations in the Sydney metropolitan area, all doing different things within the reuse and repair world.

The Bower Marrickville is located 1.7km from Marrickville train station. Bus 428 (from City or Canterbury) stops on Addison Road directly out the front of the Addison Road Community Centre. There is plenty of free parking within the Addison Road Community Centre.

Bower Woodworks is located at the rear of 107 in Redfern.

Here we operate regular carpentry workshops (including the Marrickville Men’s Shed) and our Bower Bespoke service. Our staff create signature Bower items from recycled materials that we sell in our shopfront. They also work on individual projects to your specifications. Please note: we are only able to accept card payments in our Redfern workshop location. No cash, please.

Access via rear lane off Turner St. Please call ahead to arrange time to speak with our workshop staff.

The Bower Summer Hill branch is in the process of opening at the Inner West Sustainability Hub. Some of our workshops and courses are happening at the Summer Hill site.
