Community Sheds

Banga community shed

Australia’s first community hub dedicated to the reuse and repair of household electrical appliances.

The Banga electrical workshop has opened its doors at Sydney’s Green Square to provide space for people to meet, learn, and share skills. The shed houses a tool library and hosts a weekly repair café, electronic skills workshops, and testing and tagging services.

Our new shed is unique in the world. It’s a place where people can come together to learn and share skills around electronics and repairs. Volunteers and members of the community are always welcome. Whatever your level of knowledge is, we’d love to have you.
